Why are polygamists being targeted but gay relationships encouraged?

.Child abuse is a separate issue from polygamy. They are otherwise "normal" why is it illegal to marry more than one woman? It is the height of hypocrisy. People should be free to be involved in as many marriages as they please, just as men are free to sodomize each other. Jeez...that was creepy just typing it.
