I need help with birthday gift ideas for my best friend?

so one of my guy friends is turning 19 and i have no idea what to get him. im a girl and i have no idea what guys like. i know he loves bands like muse and distrubed and korn and such. umm he sorta likes the game magic but hes not a big fan of sports sept for swimming ughhh ya thats all i can think of..his favorite animal is dogs but i really have noo clue what to get him and his birthdays coming up
