Why do Disney and Nickelodeon make fun of Wisconsin so much?

I am from Wisconsin. Sonny with a Chance makes us all look like hicks. We really aren't. We have malls and really nice schools and we are completely normal like that. The new iCarly episode iDo makes fun of Wisconsin too. We are really normal. And whats with the cheese thing? Sure we make cheese, but most people in Wisconsin don't even like cheese. Us girls here love shopping and chick flicks and we have boyfriends and we are just like you. And why do they put us as having Southern accents? We have the accents of news reporters. All news reporters have to take on a mid-west accent in order to be able to speak clearly. Yes, we have farms, but its not like the little tiny ones in the south that have like one cow on it named Bessie or anything. We have dairy farms but its not even like we have that many. And take a look at Madison and Milwaukee. We have ghettos in towns! Milwaukee actually has a pretty scary ghetto. We have the Packers and the Brewers and yes some people go hunting (i do) but I am still a girly girl and I love doing my nails and stuff. Our house looks just like all of your houses do and we have flat screen tvs and wiis and xboxes and everything. I don't even live on a farm. We have more cities than we do farms. Why do people think we are hicks?
