Can you catch bronchitis from another person?

Yes and no. Bronchitis is caused when the bronchi (tubes leading to the lungs) become inflamed. This occurs when a person gets a cold virus and it "moves down into their chest". Some viruses are more likely to cause bronchitis than others. So... if you catch the same virus that someone with bronchitis started off with, it could certainly turn into bronchitis with you too.
