What is X and the atomic m of X?
An element X forms both a dicholoride (XCl2) and a tetrachloride (XCl4). Treatment of 10.00g of XCl2 with excess chloride gas (Cl2) forms 12.55g XCl4. How do you calculate it and how do you find X?
